Page not found if I delete home and site_url in wp-config.php

If I delete the following code in wp-config.php, my page cannot be found. define( 'WP_HOME', 'https://www.example.com/newwebsitesubdirectory' ); define( 'WP_SITEURL', 'https://www.example.com/newwebsitesubdirectory' ); My goal was to change the URL of my site. I did some research but nothing really helped. Do you have any tips?
