Why is WordPress not showing changes on chrome whereas it works on other browsers?

My setup is an Apache2 server (call it SRVWEB1) configured as a frontend reverse proxy, forwarding requests to another Apache2 (call it SRVWEB2) hosting the websites. Requests from the outside are SSL encrypted to SRVWEB1, over https, which forwards them to SRVWEB2 unencrypted (http). The wordpress sites are configured to use URL https://www.example.com as the root and the following lines are added to wp_config.php : define('FORCE_SSL_ADMIN', true); $_server['HTTPS'] = 'on'; When using Chrome browser to access the site, it always shows the initial version of the home page. Hitting Ctrl+F5 shows the actual version, however when clicking a link to the home page shows again the initial version. Each change in an article needs a Ctrl+F5 to refresh. Even when logging into the admin using https://www.example.com/wp-admin, it comes back to the homepage after successful login, showing the initial version. Have to Ctrl+F5 to get new version and the admin toolbar. When using Edge or Firefox on the same computer, everything works smoothly. What's wrong between Wordpress and Chrome ? Sidenote : I only get this issue with https. I have other wordpress sites hosted exactly the same way (reverse proxy + hosting server), same servers, but without SSL, I don't get the issue.
