I have downloaded the wordpress project files and database from AWS and I want to run this project on my localhost. The main project directory contains some other folders, public_html folder and few files like index.php, 555.php and few more files. All of the wordpress files are on public_html. My question here is, should I use the main directory as root directory or should I make the main directory as public_html folder? I have tried to run the project by making root directory using both main directory as well as public_html folder but it's showing some issues.
